Goalkeeper Mitch Walker was quick to play down his great save which kept Dover top of the league on Saturday.
Their game at Leyton Orient was poised at 1-1 when James Dayton's cross from the right picked out Macauley Bonne at the back post.
The O's top scorer did everything right, heading the ball down towards goal, but Walker pulled off a fabulous block to earn Whites a point which kept them one point clear of the chasing pack.
"That's what I'm there for, to keep the ball out of the net," he said.
"You know that the longer the ball stays in the air, the less of an angle the striker's got. You just try to position yourself in the best place and react to the ball if he won the header - and he did. Luckily I was in the right place at the right time.
"I thought we were unfortunate with the goal we conceded because it was going wide and G got it caught underneath his feet. He thought he had someone behind him but it happens.
"It was a good game to play in. It's always nice when you come to a big stadium like this. You could feel the buzz going round the crowd, especially when they scored.
"We enjoyed it. We're a little bit disappointed not to get the three points but it's still another point on the board. This is a tough place to come and it's probably the worst time to play them, when their manager's just gone. They've maybe got a new lease of life."
Dover have only conceded 13 goals in 20 league games - a record only bettered by second-placed Wrexham (12).
Walker said: "It's always disappointing when we concede a goal so we're a little bit disappointed to concede another one today but it's not as if we're leaking goals this season so long may it continue.
"The boys in front of me have been absolutely outstanding. We've got a good team camaraderie here, everyone wants to work hard for one another and that goes to show why our goal-difference is so good at the moment."
