Dover Athletic manager Chris Kinnear says the appointment of Alan Pardew as manager of FA Cup opponents Crystal Palace won't affect how he approaches the tie.
Pardew is expected to be confirmed as the new Palace boss ahead of their Third Round clash at Crabble on Sunday.
On Monday night the ex-Eagles player was given permission by Newcastle United to speak to the struggling Premier League side, who will take on Athletic at the Crabble at 1pm.
The two clubs are understood to have agreed a compensation package worth at least £2m for Pardew, who has five years remaining on an eight-year contract at St James' Park, to pave the way for the former midfielder to replace Neil Warnock, sacked on Saturday after a run of three points from six games.
The 53-year-old s expected to be in the Palace dugout for the tie, which is set to draw a sell-out crowd of 5,745 and be beamed around the world by BT Sport TV cameras.
Pardew - who began his career with former Kent League team Whyteleafe, currently in Ryman League Division 1 South, ias a teenager n the early 80s - is expected to be in charge for Thursday's visit to Aston Villa.
Pardew famously scored the winning goal as Palace beat Liverpool 4–3 after extra-time in the FA Cup semi-final in 1990 and has managed in Kent as recently as August when Newcastle won 1-0 against Gillingham at Priestfield in the Capital One Cup.
Fresh from a Tuesday afternoon training session, Kinnear - who has previously acted as a scout for Wolves - said: "I know a lot of Premier League managers but (Pardew) is one I don't know."
He welcomed the media storm surrounding Pardew's switch, adding: "The good thing about it, it's given us more exposure and that can only be good for us and the club.
"It doesn't matter who's in the dugout, it won't change the way I prepare for the game."
