AFC Hornchurch v Dover Athletic
Dover manager Andy Hessenthaler seems likely to be without centre-half Olly Schulz this weekend as his side bid to build on their impressive start to the Ryman League Premier Division season.
Dover have won their opening two games against Harrow Borough and Dartford, scoring six goals and conceding none, but Schulz damaged his ankle at Dartford on Tuesday and Hessenthaler admitted that the former Ramsgate player was doubtful both for the trip to AFC Hornchurch on Saturday, and the home game with Margate on Monday.
Hessenthaler said: "Olly took a kick on the ankle and, to be honest, he is struggling and so Laurence Ball will come into contention. (Striker) Nathan Bailey is also 50/50 because of his ankle injury."
But the good news for Whites fans is that centre-half Craig Cloke is likely to make his first appearance of the season in Saturday’s reserve team game with Erith & Belvedere, following his recovery from a kidney operation. Hessenthaler added: "If Clokey comes through ok he could be involved at some stage against Margate."
