Tyne back for Dover's cup clash?

TOMMY TYNE: set for cup tie action

STRIKER Tommy Tyne, who has missed the last three matches with a recurrence of his hamstring problem, is set to return for Sunday’s FA Cup, second qualifying round, tie with Maidenhead at the Hoverspeed Stadium (kick off 3pm).

Jamie Day, though, is still doubtful because of a thigh injury. Anyway, with the midfielder suspended for Whites’ next two matches after the cup game, manager Clive Walker may feel it is not worth risking him.

Walker was impressed with young wing-back James Rogers on his first team debut in the 2-0 win over Moor Green but may not be prepared to gamble on his inexperience for the tie.

The game has been switched to Sunday because ground-sharers Margate are at home to Northwich Victoria on Saturday. If a replay is necessary, it will take place next Tuesday (7.45pm).
