CLIVE WALKER leads his side into the vital Christmas period with the clear backing of the Dover Athletic board.
But the future of a number of senior players is in question after club chairman Jim Parmenter publicly questioned their commitment.
In a lengthy statement published on the club's website, Mr Parmenter said: "Three or four senior players are not performing at the level they should and are letting Clive and their team-mates down.
"Some of these players, with their body language and attitude, are suggesting they do not want to perform for Dover Athletic."
Mr Parmenter said he and Walker would allow those not committed to gaining promotion with Dover the chance to leave, adding: "Clive Walker will be the Dover boss for the forseeable future and the board will not get drawn into a debate about replacing him under any circumstances this season."
