Whites boss returns to Crabble hotseat

STABILITY: Clive Walker is back in charge
STABILITY: Clive Walker is back in charge

DOVER manager Clive Walker is back in charge at Crabble less than a fortnight after major back surgery.

Terry White had been caretaker manager for nine matches from which the side took only 11 points, although they did occupy top spot in Ryman League Division 1 South briefly.

However, they now sit fourth, level with four other sides on goal difference and Walker will be hoping to bring stability back to the club as they seek to avoid another failed promotion bid.

Chairman Jim Parmenter said: "For Clive to come back from an operation of that magnitude so quickly shows the strength of character the man has got.

"He is a Dover Athletic man through and through and passionate about bringing success to the club."
