Dover Athletic have signed England C defender Aswad Thomas.
The 26-year-old joins Chris Kinnear's side ahead of their Vanarama National League trip to Bromley tomorrow (Saturday).
Thomas was at Crabble last weekend, going through his paces before the game against Altrincham, and he's now agreed a deal to join Whites.
Having come through Charlton's youth system, Thomas was loaned out to Accrington Stanley, Barnet and Lewes before making a permanent move to Woking in 2009.
He spent two years with the Cards and then had a season at Braintree before signing for Grimsby in 2012. Thomas made 90 appearances for the Mariners, playing in the 2013 FA Trophy final as well as two Conference Premier play-off campaigns.
Released by Grimsby in February, he finished last season back at Woking.
