DOVER Athletic's Danny Chapman has lost his appeal to the Ryman League against the club's decision to cancel his contract.
The midfielder was contracted until the end of next season, but the club acted after he was sent off for allegedly using racial language towards a team-mate.
The altercation with Anton Innocent took place in the game against Godalming on March 24.
Chapman now has the right to appeal to the FA against the league's verdict.
Chapman has already been charged by the FA over the alleged offence and is awaiting the hearing.
