Jack Munns says Dover's display against Solihull Moors on Saturday proved they can live with any team in the National League.
Third-placed Solihull are one of the division's form sides, but Whites produced some of their best football under Andy Hessenthaler, particularly in the first half when they should have been two or three goals up before conceding an equaliser.
Midfielder Munns was at the heart of Dover's excellent first-half display and provided the free-kick from which Inih Effiong headed them in front – his second assist in as many games.
The 1-1 draw extended their own unbeaten run to five league and cup games and moved them up one place to ninth.
Munns, 25, said: "The feeling in the changing room is that it's a little bit like two points dropped.
"We know they are a good side, they're on a great run and we know the way they play they can be dangerous.
"I think first half, I felt it was probably the most ball I've had here, for a while, but second half we knew they would change something and the substitution they made they matched us up in the middle and it became a bit more of a fight.
"I think they had to change it because if they hadn't we would have eventually broken them down and got two or three.
"For a team like Solihull to come here and change their shape it just shows that we are a side that people do worry about in this league.
"We've just played one of the better sides, maybe one of the favourites for the league, so I don't think we should fear anyone in this league .
"There isn't anyone who we've played yet, and I think we've played more or less all of them now, that we should fear.
"Hopefully we can put a winning run together and see where it takes us. I do just feel like we will batter someone soon because we're creating loads of chances."
Of his own performance Munns said: "It's nice to get another assist, I don't think I had one before Yeovil last week (when his free kick led to Scott Doe's winner).
"That's part of my game, I like to get on the dead balls and create things from there or in open play.
"Now I've just got to start trying to find the net myself as well.
"I feel like I'm a creative midfielder and I want to create and score as many goals as I can so hopefully that will come as well."
Munns joined Whites on a two-year deal from Dagenham and Redbridge in the summer and admits he is enjoying life at Crabble.
The former Cheltenham man also feels that the competition there is helping to bring the best out of everyone.
He said: "I'm really enjoying it, I think if we got a little bit more belief in there we can do good things this season and ultimately that's what you want to do. Everyone knows how tight the league is.
"You've got to be on it every day, every game is massive really, you can't ever switch off, but personally I'm enjoying it here.
"It's a great group of lads and it's a side I like playing in.
"There's good competition for places, everyone is coming back fit so you know every time you're out there you've got to perform because every one wants to play in these games
"Hopefully that can drive us all on as a squad and get us back in those play-offs asap."
Whites host Maidenhead at Crabble on Tuesday and will be looking to extend their unbeaten home record to four matches
