Alfie Pavey is back at Dover.
Striker Pavey, 26, re-joins Andy Hessenthaler’s Whites after a successful stint at Crabble during the 2021/22 season.
He scored six goals in 18 matches for a Dover team which finished bottom of the National League before being recalled from his loan by Maidstone for their National League South title run-in late in March.
He revealed he would be leaving the Stones last month and Dover announced the former Millwall man would be coming back for a second permanent spell with them on Saturday.
Pavey’s previous permanent stint at Dover saw him arrive in November 2018 and depart in September the following year for Barnet.
Also in Whites’ attacking ranks for their 2022/23 National League South campaign will be Academy frontman Noah Carney who has signed his first professional contract with the club.
Carney, 18, made his first National League start in Dover’s 2-0 Boxing Day defeat to Dagenham at Crabble, having already made appearances off the bench while he was selected for England under-18s’ Schoolboys side as well.
That news came after Whites had announced the signings of midfielder Jordan Higgs from Dulwich Hamlet and full-back Alfie Paxman from Folkestone Invicta earlier in the week while defender Jake Goodman had become the first player to agree to stay on at Crabble.
