Defender Shadrach Ogie has joined Dover Athletic on loan from League Two outfit Leyton Orient until the end of the season.
Ogie, who can play both as a centre-back and a left-back, is expected to go straight into 13th-placed Whites' squad for their National League clash at Notts County this weekend.
The 18-year-old has been capped by Republic of Ireland at Under-18 and Under-19 level and made his debut for the O's off the bench in their 1-0 FA Trophy win over Blyth Spartans in February.
Head coach Ross Embleton told Leyton Orient's website: "Shadrach is a player who has got a very big future ahead of him.
"Unfortunately, in the last year to 18 months, he hasn’t played as much as he should have for a lad of his age.
"He has benefited from being around the first-team every day in training and has developed because of that, but he needs to be playing on a regular basis.
"It is fantastic that a National League side want to take him and give him the opportunity to play at that level."
Ogie also spent time on loan with Isthmian Premier Division side Bishop's Stortford last season.
Dover have already taken Ruel Sotiriou on loan from the east London club this term, with Sotiriou scoring on his debut as Andy Hessenthaler's team knocked Southend out in the first round of the FA Cup as they claimed a 1-0 win.
Embleton added: "Dover treated Ruel fantastically, so we’re delighted they’re interested in giving Shadrach a similar opportunity."
