Whites to take on full-strength Charlton squad

Dover Athletic’s friendly with Charlton Athletic at the Perrys Crabble Stadium, originally scheduled for Tuesday, July 22, has been been put back to next Wednesday.

The switch follows a request from Charlton manager Alan Pardew to delay the match 24 hours so that he will be able to send his full first team squad to Crabble, following the Addicks' arrival back from a training camp in Spain the previous day.

Whites chairman Jim Parmenter said: “This is a big boost for us. For a team like Charlton to send their first team to the Perrys Crabble is a big complement, in terms of our facilities and pitch as well as our playing squad.

“It will be a superb crowd pleaser, and a very tough test for Hess’s lads.”

The rearranged game will kick-off at 7.45pm and admission prices will be: Adults £10, Over 60s £7,11-16 Years: £5,Under 11s: £2.
