ON LOAN: Steve Browne is keen to extend Lee Shearer's spell at the club

DOVER ATHLETIC manager Steve Browne is still looking to strengthen his squad in a bid to keep the club in the Ryman Premier Division.

French goalkeeper Dominique Jean-Zepherin is currently on trial with Whites. He spent last season at Lewes and has been training with Nice.

The Dover boss is also hoping to extend Lee Shearer’s loan by three months from Gravesend.

However, Browne stressed there would be no more mass influx of players.

He said: "We need to settle down. We can't keep making 100 changes. But I still need to make changes in certain areas."

In reference to Shearer, he added: “Andy Ford, their manager, is up for this deal and I’ve just got to finalise things with Lee. He is a big player for us.”
