A great place to start your child’s learning journey

Sponsored Editorial

Manor House Nursery Group’s family-run nurseries are very different to other nurseries, and if you’re looking for a place for your little one, you should come and see why.

The Group has three nurseries: Manor House Nursery School, Manor House Kindergarten (which are both rated Outstanding by Ofsted) and its newest addition, Manor House Minster Nursery, which has just undergone a full renovation.

.

Manor House Nursery’s management team work with its qualified teachers to lead its ambitious curriculum. Its staff are chosen for both their qualifications and experience, as well as their commitment to making a difference in children’s lives. All of its nurseries provide warm, loving and consistent care in an environment where babies and children can explore, develop and reach their full potential.

Manor House Nursery School, which opened in 2008, is set in the centre of Hartsdown Park in Margate. Located in a large Victorian manor house, it has large, open, airy rooms and gardens for free-flow play, enabling children to get outside, explore and connect with nature.

Manor House Minster Nursery is set within the grounds of Minster Primary School. All of the rooms have their own gardens, while free-flow

access is promoted to ensure that children can learn both indoors and outdoors.

Minster Nursery also provides wrap around care for Minster Primary School school children in the school holidays, teacher training days, and before and after school club.

..

Both Manor House Nursery in Margate and in Minster accept children from six months to five years old, and they are open from 8am to 6pm all year round.

Both nurseries have dedicated spaces for babies, two year olds, three years olds and four year olds. There are separate, cosy sleep rooms and sensory rooms for the youngest children. The baby rooms provide a range of familiar, new and exciting experiences for babies to explore. The two-year-olds have their own sensory rooms that meet their developmental needs and interests.

The Group’s pre-school teams of skilled practitioners and qualified teachers also promote activities that provide depth of learning related to each child’s interests. In addition, there’s a separate classroom where group work is carried out using a large interactive screen, enabling children to extend their learning through technology.

Manor House Nursery schools also put on weekly forest school sessions, as well as taking children on weekly trips around the community, enabling them to learn new life skills and develop independence. Younger children get out and about within the community each week too, with trips to the park, library and local area. Manor House also provides a holiday club on its forest school site for children aged four to 11 years old.

..

The Group also has a Kindergarten woodland nursery school in Birchington. Here children enjoy the true Scandinavian ethos of childcare, embracing the outdoors as an inspirational environment. Children can feed and look after the animals at the onsite farm as well as try their hand at outdoor cooking and making mud pies. Additionally, there are three log cabins for children to play or rest in.

Manor House Nursery schools access all Early Years funding, from 15 to 30 hours per week, and will help you with your applications.
