Park View Care Centre in Ashford continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting residents and the local community through a series of engaging November events.
Located in the Park Farm area, this nursing and dementia care home invites the community to join them for two special events in November.
Dementia Café – November 24th, 2-4 pm
Held on the last Tuesday of each month, the Dementia Café offers a friendly, welcoming environment led by the home’s dedicated Lifestyle Team. This supportive afternoon is open to anyone living with or supporting someone with dementia.
The team will be on hand to listen, sign post local resources, and introduce guests to the home’s dementia-friendly Montessori spaces, Namaste Care program, and innovative tools, like virtual reality headsets, designed to enhance emotional and physical well-being.
Guests can connect with others in similar situations while enjoying freshly made cakes and refreshments in the bistro, making it an ideal time to share experiences in a caring and understanding space.
Planning for the Future Open Day – November 28th, 2-4 pm
In partnership with Willow & Green Funeral Directors and Squiggle Consult Estate Planners, this informative event offers valuable insights for those planning ahead or caring for a loved one.
