Dav initially joined BAE Systems’ two-year graduate scheme, and has helped to develop core capabilities for some of the company’s key products.

Ethan studied mechanical engineering at university for a year, before applying for the software engineering degree-level apprenticeship at BAE Systems in Rochester.

“I had some experience in programming and wanted to discover my area of specialism while learning on the job. I think an apprenticeship is a great way to do that,” added Ethan. “I’d previously had work experience at BAE Systems and thought it would be a good place to develop my skills.”

“Although I commute from London, the journey isn’t too bad and I take advantage of social activities around our university sessions. I’m looking forward to growing my career here.”
