St Peter’s CE Junior School to host Open Days

Are you looking for the best school for your child to attend as they move up to Year 3 in September 2025? St Peter’s CE Junior School in Broadstairs, judged ‘Outstanding’ in all areas by Ofsted last year, has Open Days in November and December!

Welcoming families across Thanet, St Peter's invites parents and guardians with their children to visit the school and see everything it has to offer. The Open Days are for parents and Year 2 children who are exploring their move to Year 3 in September 2025.

- There is fantastic sports coaching – come see the gleaming trophy cabinet!
- It is recognised nationally for the teaching of science – holding the Primary Science Quality Mark and led by a recent Science Teacher of the Year!
- Academic results are consistently high, well above National every year and with typically double the Thanet average attaining a place at a grammar school each year

You might be surprised to know that St Peter’s actually takes families from a much wider catchment area than you would think. Last year, Year 3 children came from many different schools across Thanet. Each year, children join St Peter’s from schools such as Wellesley Haddon Denne, Callis Grange, St Mildred’s, Priory, Ellington, St Joseph’s, Bromstone, Minster, Newington and of course from families moving into the area.

St Peter’s is a church school, serving the local community. That means it welcomes families of all faiths and those with none and with no need for supplementary church forms or letters from the vicar!

Should you have any further questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact the school office team on 01843 861430. The office team is happy to arrange an individual tour for you if you cannot make it to one of the official Open Days.
