A busy road is closed in both directions after a car crashed into a house.

Emergency services are at the scene of the collision in the A2 London Road, Faversham.

The road is shut in both directions between The Western Link roundabout and South Road.

Motorists face delays in the area this afternoon and have been warned by Kent Highways to “approach with caution”.

A police spokesman said: “We were called at 2.45pm today to a collision involving two vehicles in Ospringe Street, Faversham.

“One of the vehicles also collided with a wall of a residential property.

“Officers attended and there were no reported injuries.

“A road closure is currently in place.”
