The A2 has been shut off this morning following a crash between a lorry and two cars.

Huge queues have formed on the approach from Canterbury to Brenley Corner at Faversham as emergency crews deal with the aftermath of the accident.

Police and paramedics were called shortly before 8.30am after an HGV was in collision with a BMW and a Nissan.

A woman in the Nissan, thought to be in her 50s, is believed to have suffered neck pain.

Both lanes of the carriageway are closed.

Stagecoach has tweeted to say its buses are delayed as a result of the crash.
