A road was closed in both directions after a car hit a telegraph pole.

Traffic was queuing on the A251 Faversham Road in the Badlesmere area following the crash near to the junction with the A252 Canterbury Road.

Emergency service were sent to the scene.

Police have been contacted for more information.
