Air ambulance lands in Faversham Recreation Ground

An air ambulance landed in a town park this morning as doctors responded to a medical emergency.

Crews touched down on Faversham Recreation Ground at about 9.45am.

A spokesperson for the ambulance service said: "The air ambulance landed to assist with a transfer to hospital from a private address."
