KENT Police say four people have been injured in a crash involving several vehicles on the M2.

A woman and two men suffered suspected neck and back injuries while a fourth person had leg injuries. They have been taken to the Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital at Margate.

The accident involving a coach, a truck as well as a van and a car, happened close to Brencley Corner, near Faversham, at about 8.40am.

The coaststbound section of the motorway is closed at junction 6. The second lane of the London-bound carriageway is also closed.
