A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital following a crash in Faversham.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the incident involving a car and motorbike in Whitstable Road at about 11.45am.

An air ambulance landed at the Rec, and police closed the road to traffic and pedestrians.

The motorcyclist was treated for injuries at the scene before being taken to a local hospital for further medical attention.

The road has now reopened.
