A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a crash in Teynham.

They were involved in a collision with a car at around 7.30pm yesterday.

The accident happened in Lower Road, between Frognal Lane and Hempstead Lane.

Police and ambulance crews attended the scene and the motorcyclist has now been taken to a hospital in London.

Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 7.30pm on 26 May 2018 to a collision in Lower Road, Teynham. It involved a car and a motorcycle."
