A car and bus have smashed into a wall in Faversham.

Police were called to the scene in South Road, at the junction with Stone Street, after the crash shortly before 4pm.

Drivers were urged to avoid the area as it was obstructing the road.

A police spokesman said: "Police were called to a collision between a bus and a car in Stone Street, Faversham, at 4.02pm.

"No serious injuries have been reported however the road was blocked until around 6.45pm."
