It was their first night away as a couple since having their daughter Ella in February 2020.

On Instagram, James who was born in Medway, said it was "a wonderful night away".

He added: "The staff were amazing from the moment we arrived at reception – the room was wonderful and the food exceptional.

"We must have mummy and daddy nights away more often.

"First time we had a night away without Ella that wasn’t work related. I love my daughter more than anything in the world but it was a treat to spend some quality time with her mummy."

The hotel in Brickfield Lane has a selection of luxury rooms, a restaurant, a sauna and gym.

The four-star venue has steadily grown in popularity since its launch in 2019, attracting the likes of former Little Mix star Jesy Nelson, Premier League footballer Jarrod Bowen and his girlfriend and former Love Island winner Dani Dyer. Ex-glamour model Katie Price has also been a guest.

Reality TV stars Saffron Lempriere and Jack Fincham have also enjoyed stays there.

In October, James thanked his fans for offering him, his wife Ola and daughter Ella a place to stay in the run-up to Christmas as they unexpectedly found themselves "homeless" following an encounter with a "very rude" landlord.

They needed a place to stay for six months until their new home was ready after putting their five-bedroom Sevenoaks mansion up for sale for £2.5m early last year.
