A police helicopter has been seen circling over a town in search for a missing man.

The man, aged in his 20s, was reported missing from the Faversham area at about 11am.

The chopper was spotted hovering over the town this afternoon, while police officers were reportedly seen in Faversham Recreation Ground.

But the man was safely located shortly after 2.30pm.
