Drugs sold to undercover policeman

A TAXI driver supplied drugs to a passenger unaware that he was an undercover police officer, a judge at Maidstone Crown Court was told. Vincent Hopkins, of Willow Avenue, Faversham, admitted supplying drugs, offering to supply them and possessing cannabis. He was jailed for 18 months.
Paul Valder, defending, said Hopkins was a go-between for the supplier and customer. He denied being a small-time supplier and claimed that he had only sold drugs to the undercover officer.
