There were rush hour delays this afternoon following a crash which blocked one lane of the M2.

It happened around 4.25pm on the London bound carriageway between junction 6 at Faversham and junction 5 at Sittingbourne.

The collision was between a lorry and a car. It is not known if anyone was hurt.

Kent Highways is now reporting the road has been cleared.
