A Grade II-listed church in Faversham converted into a two-bedroom home has come on the market for £740,000.

Originally known as Church of St John the Evangelist, it closed in 2000 before being sold at auction in 2012 for £345,000.

Built in 1881 by Kirk and Son of Sleaford, the former church in Upper Brents was awarded its listed status in 1972 and still boasts an original arched door and many of the lancet windows have retained their stunning stained-glass panels.

It has been restored by its present owners into a home, featuring an extensive open-plan living room, two double bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and utility room.
