Love is in the air across the county today as couples celebrate Valentine's Day.
On the breakfast show on kmfm, Garry and Claire have announced the winner of the Share the Love competition which saw listeners share their stories of the best proposals, meetings and wedding days.
Hundreds of people entered the competition for a chance to win £500 to make their Valentine's Day extra special.
Listeners voted for the favourite couple throughout last week and this morning, the winners Brogan and Robert from Faversham were announced on air.
Brogan, a teaching assistant training to become a teacher in Ashford, was living in Lanzarote working at the airport when a group of new reps were starting – including Robert, who is originally from Glasgow.
She says he was "cheeky, funny, and a breath of fresh air" when he arrived on the island and after a few chats, he said a few of the reps were going out for drinks at the end of their shift.
"I thought 'well if everyone is going, I might as well go'," said Brogan.
"I arrived to find Robert sitting there on his own.
"Turned out no one else was invited and Robert just wanted to meet me for a drink but was too shy to ask me.
"We hit it off immediately but sadly he had to leave the island and return to Glasgow.
"After several trips back and forth he one day decided not to get on the plane and phoned me saying he couldn’t leave. Four years later we are in love more than ever and saving for our first house."
The couple took 55% of the vote last week for their 'Fake Drinks' story.
