Knife-wielding robbers wearing balaclavas entered a village store and demanded a shop assistant open a till, it has been alleged.
Police were called to the Premier shop in Boughton-under-Blean, near Faversham, shortly before 8.45pm yesterday.
It is reported two people entered the off licence in The Street armed with a blade and tried to make a worker open the till.
Upon hearing the incident, it is said two other members of staff came into the shop and managed to chase the two suspects from the premises.
Officers attended the scene, and following a search of the area, a 17-year-old was arrested on suspicion of robbery.
