A MISSING labrador has been reunited with her delighted owners after two weeks thanks to huge publicity and a lost dogs website.
And dog lover Justine Marlowe says the reunion proves her new Petwatch scheme really works.
The dog, named Hollie, disappeared from her home in Water Lane, Ospringe, near Faversham, after a neighbour took her for a walk and let her off her lead.
But owners Graham Wiles, 27, and Anna Savvides, 21, put up posters all over town and Ms Marlowe put out a plea on her website alfieslostterriers.com.
Tesco announced Hollie’s disappearance on its public address system and people reported sightings of the 15-month-old pet.
Her owners were able to track her from Oare to Teynham and finally Stockbury where a couple put out food for her.
Mr Wiles, a technical training instructor at BAE Systems, said: “It’s been hard keeping track of Hollie but we are delighted we’ve got her back. We are really grateful to everybody who has helped us. They have been wonderful.”
The couple went to Stockbury to collect Hollie. “She heard our voices and came up to us straight away," said Mr Wiles. "It was great. She’s a bit skinny and hungry, her feet are sore and she’s got a few ticks but otherwise she’s fine.
