Several horses have been hurt and a man injured in a crash involving as many as four vehicles and a horsebox this morning.

The rush-hour smash at 8am on the A251 at Faversham sparked queues of traffic off the M2 at junction six.

A man has suffered an injury to his face and police say horses also received treatment.
