Man cut free by fire crews after crash in A251 Ashford Road, Faversham

A man has been cut free from his car after a crash in Ashford Road, Faversham.

Fire crews had to use specialist hydraulic equipment to take off the car's roof, where he had become trapped after colliding with another vehicle.

The accident happened at about 3pm at the junction with Porters' Lane, closing the road for a short time.

The accident took place in Ashford Road, Faversham. (3176107)

Two fire engines were sent to the scene.

The man has now been passed into the care of ambulance crews, but the extent of his injuries is unknown.
