The body of a man was found in a £2 million mansion in a Faversham village yesterday morning.

Police and forensics were called in after the man, believed to be in his 50s, was discovered at a home in Staple Street Road, Hernhill.

A police spokesman said: "We were called at 8.37am following the discovery of the body of a man.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious and the man's next of kin are aware."
