A man has been arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment after being stopped by police.

Officers from the joint tactical operations team forced a car to stop in Faversham.

It comes after they were called to a Ramsgate home at just after 2am today, following reports of a domestic incident.

Just over two hours later, a man was arrested at the A251 junction with the M2, after a police chase.

He is being held in custody.
