Faversham: Two men arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs

Two men have been arrested after suspected Class A drugs were found in a raid.
Police became suspicious of a vehicle travelling down Whitstable Road in Faversham at about 2.45pm on Tuesday.
The car was believed to be involved in supplying heroin and cocaine and failed to stop when requested to do so.
Officers followed and the vehicle stopped in Abbey Fields, where a quantity of meat and detergent - believed to be stolen - and a baseball bat were uncovered in a search.
A 50-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing heroin, driving while banned and without insurance, failing to stop for police, supplying a controlled drug, possessing an offensive weapon and theft.
He has been bailed pending further inquiries until Sunday, September 9.
A search was then carried out under a warrant at an address in St Nicholas Road, Faversham.
Inside police uncovered a quantity of suspected Class A drugs and a 47-year-old man from Sittingbourne was arrested on suspicion of possessing cocaine with intent to supply.
He has been bailed, pending further inquiries, until September 9.
