Swale Borough Council investigate serious animal neglect after dog found in St Nicholas Road in Faversham

The council is investigating serious animal neglect after a painfully thin Staffordshire Bull Terrier was found straying in a Faversham street.

The young dog was discovered in St Nicholas Road this afternoon.

His nails were overgrown and his ribs were protruding from his body.

Badly neglected dog found straying.

A spokesman for Swale Borough Council's stray dog service said: "He was found in very poor condition.

"If you have any information confirming where it comes from, please contact us as we are investigating serious animal neglect.

His nails were overgrown.
He was noticeably skinny.

"He is now in safe hands recovering and already has a great home to go to."
