Pair in hospital after Faversham railway station fight

A fight which broke out at a train station has led to two people being arrested and taken to hospital.

British Transport Police (BTP) was called to Faversham railway station shortly before 11pm on Wednesday (June 12).

The incident took place at Faversham railway station last night

It was following multiple reports of a fight on one of its platforms.

The melee led to two men in their 20s being arrested on suspicion of affray – both of whom were taken to hospital after suffering injuries.

The pair have since been discharged and released under investigation while inquiries continue.

BTP has confirmed officers will be gathering CCTV and statements “to build a full case file”.

No other individuals required hospital treatment following the incident.
