A MAN was arrested after allegedly making threats to kill a parking warden who had issued him with a ticket.

The 25-year-old victim was patrolling the area around Fielding Street, Faversham, on Saturday, when she noticed a car parked on double yellow lines.

She waited for more than five minutes but when the driver failed to return to the car, she issued a parking ticket.

It is alleged that a man was then threatening and abusive towards her. Police arrested and cautioned a 41-year-old local man on suspicion of making threats to kill.
