A Faversham teenager will face court in connection with a burglary where a handbag with bank cards inside was stolen.

The 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged on July 2 with burglary after a break-in was reported at an address in Murston Road in Sittingbourne overnight on June 7.

It is alleged that somebody broke into the property and stole the handbag with the cards inside.

Less than an hour later, cash was withdrawn from one of the cards.
