Toddler airlifted to hospital after dog attack in Broomfield Road area of Faversham

A toddler has been airlifted to hospital with multiple injuries following a dog attack at a Faversham home.

The infant was taken by air ambulance from the town's Broomfield Road area yesterday (Thursday) afternoon.

Police attended the private address at about 2.15pm and the dog was removed from the property.

Inquiries into how the attack unfolded are ongoing and no arrests have been made.

Police say the toddler was taken to a London hospital with a "number of injuries", but they are not believed to be life-threatening.
