Traffic delays on M2 and A2 near Brenley Corner at Faversham after crash

A crash at one of Faversham's busiest junctions caused traffic delays.

Two cars were involved in a collision at Brenley Corner and motorists were warned to expect delays in the area.

The crash is likely to affect traffic coming off junction 7 of the M2 and A299, and those travelling along the Boughton Bypass and London Road (A2).

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at around 9.30am regarding a collision involving two cars at Brenley Corner near Faversham.

"Officers are currently at the scene where no injuries have been reported."

It is understood the crash has since been cleared.
