Police hold traffic on A2 near Boughton-under-Blean following concerns for a man

Drivers experienced delays on parts of the A2 and M2 this evening after police were called over concerns for a man.

Officers attended Boughton-under-Blean just after 5pm and helped locate him.

He was then passed into the care of healthcare professionals.

Traffic on the A2 was affected while the incident was responded to. It also affected traffic on the M2 at junction 7 for Brenley corner.

Police say the road was moving again at around 6pm.
