Southeastern trains halted between Faversham and Dover after bridge hit in Selling

Trains were halted after a vehicle hit a bridge.

The crash happened in Selling between Canterbury and Faversham.

Southeastern trains were not running between Faversham and Dover after a bridge was hit in Selling

Services between Faversham and Dover were unable to run.

At 12.25pm, Southeastern posted on X: “Staff have completed their inspection of the bridge at #Selling and have declared the line safe to reopen. Services will be on the move shortly.”

Services had returned to normal by 1.30pm.
