Trains unable to run between Faversham and Herne Bay after power supply fault

Railway services were unable to run because of a fault with the power supply.

Response staff from Network Rail were called to investigate the issue between Faversham and Herne Bay this afternoon.

Replacement buses were running between Faversham and Margate.

There was also disruption to High Speed services via Gravesend, but all services have now returned to normal.
