THREE teenagers were arrested at the weekend on suspicion of criminal damage.

The youths, all 15, were arrested in Market Street, Faversham at 2.20am on Saturday morning.

Police received reports that a shop on the road was being damaged at about 1.25am. After consulting CCTV images, the three teenagers, two boys and a girl were arrested.

One of the teenagers, a boy from Faversham, was given a final warning. The other two were released without charge.

PC Jim Howe of Swale Police said: "Often the cost of repairing the damage caused by vandalism falls to the resident or business affected. I would like to urge those who may be involved in graffiti to think about how they would feel if their home was vandalised."
