POLICE are appealing for information after thieves stole a 1920s antique till from a garage in Dargate, near Faversham.

The incident happened overnight between May 26 and 27 when offenders forced the door to the garage. They stole the brass till which is believed to be worth around £200.

The object is very distinctive and police believe anyone who has come across it will recognise it, and possibly be able to give information concerning where it is now.
