POLICE are appealing for information following an assault in an alleyway beside a public house in Preston Street, Faversham.

The incident occurred as a 21-year-old man, who had spent the evening in the public house, walked down the alley. He was assaulted by three people.

The victim suffered facial injuries and bruising to his body during the assault. It is thought the suspects may have approached the victim via Preston Street and left via the alleyway and the Central Car Park.
